Teacher of Art

We are seeking a passionate teacher to join our busy Art department. This position is fixed term for sick leave cover, 8-12 hours per week by negotiation, teaching junior classes.

Teacher of Te Reo Maori

We are seeking a teacher of Te Reo Maori to join our Languages department.  This position is LTR, 0.4 FTE, for Term 4 2021.

Assistant Principal (Pastoral)

Full time LTR (maternity leave).  5MU / 1SMA.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop Senior Leadership experience in a highly supportive school.  We are looking for a passionate, collaborative and culturally responsive educator to oversee the work of our strong pastoral team.  Experience of PB4L would be an advantage.

Head of Learning Support (SENCO)

Full time permanent.  2MU.  1MMA.

Bayfield High School is seeking a dynamic, passionate and collaborative practitioner to take charge of this significant area of our school.  Being responsible for both the learning needs of the students based in our Learning Support Centre in addition to the learning needs of supported students across our wider campus.  Overseeing a dedicated team of teachers and teacher aides to further develop our inclusive approach.

2022 is an exciting time to join this team as our new purpose built Learning Support Centre should be completed and open for use.

Teacher of Visual Art

0.52FTE.  Permanent.

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring educator who wants to become part of a successful and collaborative team.

Bayfield High School is currently undergoing a multi million dollar upgrade that will see the Visual Arts department fully redeveloped for 2022.
