The Bayfield High School Sports Council presents ‘Race 88 at 8’ a social run aimed at general fitness goers and people of all ages and abilities who have an interest in maintaining their health through running.
The event is a fundraiser for the Bayfield High School Sports Council and costs can be found at the costs tab here.
The course is a figure of 8 beginning on Bayfield Park, running around the Bayfield inlet, back across Bayfield Park and then around the block that encompasses Bayfield High School. Runners will complete two laps of this track. The total distance is 5.4km.
The event will run at 8am on the first Sunday of each month in October, November and December 2019. The December run will also have an optional dress up theme.
Runners should register online here before 5pm on Thursday October the 3rd for the first run on Sunday October the 6th. Registration for the next race in November will open once the race in October has been completed. Runners can also register on the day but this is not recommended due to the paperwork requirements and so that we can get underway at 8am sharp.
All runners should be at Bayfield Park no later than 7:45am. On the day registrations will be taken from 7:30am.
