Welcome to Bayfield
Our vision statement is; "Providing Quality Education in a Caring Environment" - we believe we live up to that vision. We provide the best of education in a school where each student's individual needs are identified and met. Bayfield is proudly co-educational; we strongly believe a co-educational environment provides the best possible outcomes in both academic and social development.
We are extremely proud of the success of our students in the NCEA over the last 5 years. Bayfield results have been amoungst the best in NZ for decile 8 schools and in 2009 in the top 3 in Dunedin.
Bayfield High School is a school which will;
- teach students to take responsibility for their own learning.
- ensure students are supported by a professional and caring staff.
- guide students to achieve their full potential in all areas, academic, cultural, sporting and social.
- provide students with the skills to go forward into the community with self-confidence and social responsibility.
